Snake Re-homing and Adoptions

Many of the snakes re-homed through Phil's Noodle Pit have been adopted into our own collection and used in shows, events and educational opportunities. This is what allowed us to build a collection with such diversity, allowing us to display many different colors patterns/morphs in such a broad variety of snakes.

Once a snakes has been rescued by, or surrendered to Phil's Noodle Pit, we will decide if the snake will be a member of our own collection, or if it will be put out for adoption into another loving home. Only the snakes that are in excellent condition are put forward for adoption.  As the inventory grows, more snakes will be available to be re-homed/adopted out to loving homes (other than our own collection).

Snake Feeders

We have begun to breed our own feeders. We believe rats are the best choice for our snakes so we decided to start a little rat colony to feed our numerous noodles. We may be able to help out other snakes keeper when supplies run low. We are not going to be able to totally supply your needs but will be able to help out for emergencies. we hope to have both live and frozen available as we understand not all snakes eat frozen thawed.

Keeping Wild Snakes Wild and Pets Safe

Working with Other Agencies

Phils Noodle Pit is proud to work with  many organisations to help prevent or mitigate the impact on the environment from people releasing their pet snakes into the wild, (which is both illegal and inhumane). In these efforts, we are currently partnered up with several reptile and animal rescues in multiple cities and provinces in an effort to provide safe options for people to surrender their snakes and other reptiles.  Please view the full lists of our partners by clicking on the buttons below.

Wild Snake Rehabilitation and Release

We are in the process of obtaining the required permits to be able to work with the Conservation Office of British Columbia to rescue, rehabilitate and release wild and injured snakes such as rubber boas and garter snakes. This, along with public education we aim to provide, will allow us to help prevent people from picking up wild snakes, either in the hopes of trying to protect/save the animals, or to try and make them into pets (which is illegal). It is our hope to be able to work with wild snakes that have been taken out of their environments and provide them with their best chance at life.
