Ball Pythons aka. Royal Pythons (Python regius)

Monty

~2012 Male Regular Ball Python

Monty is a male Regular Ball Python.
He was originally a surrender to Total Pet of Cranbrook BC. After coming regularly to visit him, my girlfriend at the time decided to get him for me. She led me to the store, as we usually do, and as per usual I went and played with my little buddy. As we were about to leave, she informed me that I didn’t have to put the snake away as he was now mine, and that I could take him home that day, the December 11th, 2014.
We chose the name Monty and found out he was about 4 years old and therefore was estimated to have been born in 2012.
Monty is a good eater, and usually feeds on large rats. He currently eats live and enjoys the kill… too much sometimes.
Every winter, he decides to go off food in the hope of trimming his waistline to attract the pretty females. Monty is the reason I have a passion for snakes.

Lucy

~2011 Female Fire Ball Python

Lucy is a female Fire Ball Python.
She was originally a surrender to Total Pet of Cranbrook BC. After having received my first ball python, I of course wanted another, but before I could purchase her, she was sold to someone else as a regular ball python.
To my greatest surprise, that someone else happened to have been my friend and neighbor Craig. A few months passed and eventually, Craig’s situation changed. Craig came to me to see if I wanted to take her home, to which I obviously accepted on August 31st 2015. She has been a member of my family since and it has been fun discovering that she was more than a Regular Pall Python, she even has traits of the Spotnose Ball Python.
Lucy was estimated to be born in 2011 due to being about 5 years old at the time. She eats frozen/thawed, mostly large rats but will never pass up a snack.

Indy

2015 Male Pinstripe Ball Python

Indy is a female Pinstripe Ball Python.
She was first for sale at Just for Pets in Cranbrook. I was seriously considering buying her but he got scooped up by someone else. To my surprise, I knew the person who purchased her, and it happened to be my friend Ryland.
Ryland made me very happy on January 15th 2016 when he re-homed her to me under the name of “Peatree”.
Indy was under a year old when I received her and she was born in 2015. She likes to eat live at the moment but we are working on acquiring a taste for frozen/thawed.
She currently eats small to medium mice or weaned rats and is growing well. She is my Fiancee’s favorite “wittle baby”.

Spirit

2016 Female Pastel Ball Python

Spirit is a female Pastel Ball Python.
She was bred in Kimberly BC by some newly found friends at Kootenay Ball Pythons. After visiting where she came from, my fiancee decided that I needed her and bought her for me/Phil's Noodle Pit.
Spirit was named after a Casper, a former snake in the collection. He was also a bright pastel but passed away suddenly. Spirit will not only serve as a reminder for Casper, but also serve Phil's Noodle Pit as the jewel she was born to be.
Spirit was under a year old when I received her as a gift from Jessica, my spouse, and she was not a rescue. She was born in 2016 and was delivered November 3rd 2016. She likes to eat frozen/thawed and we hope she will keep to that.
She currently eats fuzzy rats but as she is just a baby, this will change soon.

On July 16th, 2016, I drove to Creston to retrieve him and exchanged him for another reptile.
