Conservation Officer Visit

Phil's Noodle Pit has officially gotten the attention of either a very jealous party, or a very misinformed person. I was shocked to receive a call from my fiancee while I was at work telling me that she had received a visit from a conservation officer. The officer informed us that there was an anonymous complaint that my snakes were illegal. First of all I would like to point out that it is not a conservation officer job normally to look into house pets. Secondly, i'm very open about my snakes, i am well informed and know very well which snakes are legal and which ones require special permits. The person who lodged the complaint not only showed how incredibly ignorant and naive certain people can be, but also wasted my time, that of my fiancee, and the time of the very nice officer who had to look into the concerns. The officer informed us today that there are absolutely no concerns with any of my snakes, and that there are no concerns with their care either. I should mention this officer was courteous and professional, its such a shame to have bothered him for such a trivial matter.
