Acquisition of Violet (~2011 Female Salmon Boa)

Violet is a female Salmon Boa. She came to me from a friend who had purchased her not long prior but she ended up needing a new home and some care. After a few negotiations, I was able to welcome this her home on May 8th 2016, a mother's day. Even before taking her in, I noticed that she was in need of serious medical attention. She had lost many of her teeth, had yellow crusts in her open mouth, and had not eaten in a while. on top of the serious mouth rot, she also had a nasty lung infection. I have started to treat her for those illnesses as soon as she was in my care. I will post updates as they are available. Her birth year was estimated to about 2011. Violet eats full size rats and will hopefully soon be eating rabbits. She normally has a good appetite. She has a unique personality and really cannot stand the smell of her own poo, to the point where she will squish herself in the opposite direction if she has too until it is removed.
