Death of Violet (~2011 Female Salmon Boa)

Violet was a female Salmon Boa, a form of hypo morph. She came to me from someone who had purchased her not long prior but her living conditions had caused her to be ill. After a few negotiations, I was able to welcome this cute lady home on May 8th 2016, on a mother's day. When I got her, she was quite ill, and kept her mouth open. She had lost many of her teeth and had not eaten in a while. I had been treating her health concerns since the day she came home. Her birth year was estimated to about 2011. Violet could have eaten full size rats and maybe even smaller rabbits. She normally had a good appetite if it wasn't for her mouth bothering her so much. She had a unique personality and really could not stand the smell of her own poo, to the point where she will squish herself as far away in the opposite direction if she had too until it is removed. Violet passed away peacefully on the morning of October 13th 2016 while getting loved. She was energetic to the very last day as she tried to fight off her mouth infection. She had lost a lot of weight despite attempts at force feeding. She will be in our memories and our hearts for a long time. Rest in Peace!
