Death of Cilas (~2012 Okatee Corn Snake)

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Cilas. Cilas was a male Okatee Corn Snake. He used to belong to a friend and co-worker of mine named Becca. Becca was going through some life changes and I offered to watch Cilas for her for a bit. On September 26th 2015, She accepted my offer to take him to my house and take care of him for her. On October 6th, I was given the opportunity to adopt him as Becca's life had taken a different direction. Cilas thus became the star of many shows and birthday parties. Cilas enjoyed digging up his tank, and enjoyed eating frozen thawed small rats. He also never passes on snacks. He was estimated to have been born in 2012 and was about 6 feet long. Cilas passed away unexpectedly without any signs of illness or injury. He was well loved and enjoyed all the attention he was getting. He was my first non-python snake as well as my first corn snake and will be missed dearly. Rest in peace buddy!
