On Feb. 16th 2017, Mowgli was found to have some difficulty breathing. There has been no changes to his setup or anything for months and it came a few days following a sizable meal. Concerned by the audible "crackles" coming from his upper third, the mouth breathing and loud wheezing, I took him to Steeples Vet Clinic in Cranbrook, BC where he was assessed by Dr. Sarah Tijon on Feb 17th 2017. She diagnosed him with what seemed to have been a hidden infection dating back from before I obtained him that was never treated (or noticed) as well as Pneumonia. It is important to note here that Mowgli has always made some interesting noises since I acquired him, but since there was no symptoms of anything, it was never looked into. Mowgli was given a prescription for Amyglide 0.3 mg injected every 3 days for 7 doses. Hopefully this will clear this old infection and cure him of his shortness of breath.
